Payment Policy

After Hour Pediatrics is a network provider for:

  1. Mills-Peninsula Medical Group (MPMG) HMO plans
     
  2. Blue Shield PPO
     
  3. Aetna PPO and direct HMO
     
  4. SutterSelect/UMR
     
  5. Cigna
     
  6. Anthem Blue Cross
     
  7. The Sequoia Physicians Network HMO Plans
     
  8. United Health Care

AHP will submit claims on behalf of patients with the above plans if and only if you provide your child’s current insurance card and urgent care copay at the time of the visit.  Please note that urgent care copays are often significantly higher than standard office visit copays.  Please consult the terms of your insurance plan regarding urgent care copays, deductibles, and co-insurance.

For all health plans not listed above, AHP is an out of network provider. Your child will be seen by our experienced staff, and you will be provided with a receipt to submit to your insurer. For details about the cost of a visit to After Hour Pediatrics, please visit  our fee information page.
